WHAT TO EXPECT

DP Nature Tours wants everyone to have a pleasant and memorable trip. Our philosophy is for you to get outside close to nature and enjoy the experience, have fun, be safe and learn how we are connected to all living things.

We schedule our tours to be enjoyed by all; they are not tests of endurance. The pace is slow and leisurely, with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, watch the wildlife, take photographs, or just sit back and enjoy the view. We provide frequent stops along the way for you to rest, stretch your legs or to explore the area.

There are a few things that you need to know how to do and what to bring with you. Listed below are some points that you need to keep in mind.

Treefrog WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

We provide the canoes, life vest, equipment, drinking water, snacks, meals and an experienced and knowledgeable guide. Canoes are large and comfortable and are driven by electric motors. There will be four or five people per canoe.

Rooms are provided on tours and will be included in price quoted.

The pace is slow and allows ample time to take photos, watch the wildlife, and enjoy the sun and water.

We care about our environment and strongly adhere to the "LEAVE NO TRACE" policy. We take out what we take in!

Our tours are for all ages. Youngsters twelve years old or older are welcome, but they can become restless and bored at times. You know your own children; don't let them be a bother to others.

Tours can fill up quickly, so please schedule well in advance of your desired tour date.

Reservations are required!
